Star Wars Attack of the clones

My thoughts about this movie: Like most star wars movies I like this one as well. It sparked the clone wars tv show so you have to at least give it credit for that. The CGI while heavy, felt necessary this time in order to really show the might of the republic. Ewan mcgregor is great as Obi Wan and the other actors while maybe not the best, don't take away from the awesome action scenes. The opening scene in particular seems fun and alive and the battle for geonosis is absolutely epic. Here are the cons however. First off, Anakins lines were poorly written, he also didn't seem to have a fitting relationship with Obi-Wan or Padme. And again, some of the effects just weren't that great in 2002. Also Jar-Jar was in it, some say that is good and some hate him the most in life. Overall though I still enjoy the movie as a star wars movie even though it is one of the weakest.
